20 may 2004 berlin

10 in the morning, i was in a bad mood, so i grabbed my new sony dsc-f828 and headed out for a walk. and i walked. and i walked. 7 at night i returned. i didn't take that many pictures, but i took these, and a few more.

it starts off with some pretty mundane pictures in volkspark friedrichshain.

then comes oberbaum brücke, berliner dom and the fernsehturm (t.v. tower). then there are a couple of shots of the new dom aquarée, which includes the most massive, but sparsely populated aquarium i have ever seen, in the form of a giant cylinder. across the street, anke seems to have taken over the side of a church with a gesture which is easy to mistake for something likely to offend church-goers. behind her, mohammed ali proves that he speaks yoda. finally, there is a picture of the world famous world clock (weltzeituhr). the numbers rotate inside the housing, and next to the time, you can read in which city it is that time. fancy schmancy.

and that was that. not much of a photo-day, but hey.
